Mood Boosting Overnight Oats
This quick burger is hearty and satisfying. Made with black beans and spices, it's a great alternative to traditional burgers.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 1 apple
- 1 cup organic rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- ½ tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
- ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup soy milk
- ½ cup chopped strawberries
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Directions
- In a container, combine the dry ingredients: rolled oats, cocoa powder, salt, cinnamon, chia seeds, hemp hearts, pumpkin seeds and mix well.
- Next, add the wet ingredients: soy milk, strawberries, and blueberries to the container and stir to combine.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavours to mix and the oats to soften.
- When ready to serve, top with maple syrup and enjoy!
