
Shehla Khan
Shehla Khan is a certified Yoga Therapist with over 15 years of experience teaching yoga asana, philosophy, and therapy. Along with public classes, workshops, private classes, and outreach programs, she also teaches yoga philosophy and yoga therapy.
Shehla is also a faculty member of George Brown College for the classical yoga teacher training certificate program.
Presently, most of Shehla’s teachings are informed by field experience in serving racialized families from African, Black, Caribbean, Latin, and South Asian communities, where she offers yoga classes and one-on-one yoga therapy at community health clinics and hospitals.

With over 15 years of experience as a yoga therapist, Shehla applies yoga and mindfulness principles to healing and restoration as it applies to mental wellbeing and daily routines. She draws on different yoga styles - Sivananda, Classical hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative while integrating Ayurveda, philosophy and mindfulness into her practice
